As Microsoft have been telling us for 4 years, tomorrow will be the final day that Windows XP will be supported by Microsoft. While that won’t mean that operating system and the applications that run on stop working, what it will mean that it may be open to security flaws that in the operating system or internet explorer.
For those people who continue to use XP from tomorrow, do so at their own risk.
While there may be many varied reasons why people continue to use XP – a 13 year old operating system – when a flaw does cripple their system, then the cost of migrating without a plan will be exponentially greater then cost of migrating with a strategy.
